The Birthday Party

Here he is, the man of the hour, celebrating the big 3. Excellent afternoon at the children's museum with all of his friends. They were far too busy for photographs once they'd hit the exhibits, so here are a few of Kel enjoying the spotlight.

We are off to San Diego for another few weeks now (I should really be getting ready!). Kel is still sleeping and will certainly want to nurse upon waking up. He has used the potty for the last three days running. Only in the evening, but it is a fantastic and welcome start. We are thrilled! We are all ready for a nice long break now -- Kel asked me last night, "You not go to the office tomorrow?". I've been working a lot lately, long hours, and its taking its toll on all of us. So, here we go, there weeks in the sunshine simply enjoying each other's company.

I look unbelievably bad in this photo (LONG morning!), but look at those gorgeous boys. And they're all mine!

We may never see his face again...

He got the new Fisher Price digital camera for his birthday. BIG hit!

The Daddy Pose

Thanks to my dear husband, who seems to think that "Smile!" means, "please gurn and shut your eyes and make the oddest face that is physically possible while I take your photo", Kel is going through a phase where making what he calls, "Daddy face", at the camera is an incredibly amusing past-time. Here, having completed a puzzle (his big thing at the moment -- all day, all the time, puzzles, puzzles, puzzles), I wanted to take a photo. Below are the results. Intentional Daddy face. We really don't need two of them in the house!

The Apron Says it All

Seriously, the kid loves to clean. He cleans the bathroom with me, does the laundry all by himself, hoovers the sitting room each morning after breakfast (they are his crumbs after all!), and must be involved with any and all cleaning activities. He already has a child sized hoover, but this week we also picked up a whole cleaning set for him and he LOVES it. These were taken yesterday morning as he concentrated his efforts on the sitting room.

Look at that face. Its a thankless job, poor guy.

Making the obligatory "schsh schsh" spray bottle sound.

Around the House -- its COLD out there!

New Potty

Oh yes, he loves his new train potty. He will sit, sing, smile, and laugh away the afternoon on his new train potty. But actually "go" in the potty? Not a chance. Stubborn little man.
